Support on your journey into parenthood and beyond

Many clients I see during pregnancy or postpartum tell me they feel like they’ve failed. They’re used to powering through and figuring things out on their own, but the tools that worked before parenthood don’t always translate to caring for a baby. Parenthood is an entirely new experience; it’s natural that old strategies won’t fit this different context. This isn’t failure; these are new challenges that call for new skills. That’s where I come in.

What I offer

  • Two people sitting and holding hands, with one wearing a denim jacket and gray shirt, and the other wearing black clothing. The background is dark and out of focus.

    Individual Therapy

You are going through literal and figurative transformation. While this can be deeply exciting, it can also feel overwhelming and bewildering. You deserve to feel safe, understood, and deeply supported as you navigate this new season of life.

  • Couples Therapy

Growing your family can bring joy and stress. This season often reveals the parts of a relationship that need extra support. We’ll clarify expectations, work through communication challenges, and build tools to help your relationship thrive in this next chapter.

  • A woman holding a newborn baby close to her chest, smiling softly, in a room with a world map on the wall.

    In-Home Therapy

In the earliest days of parenthood, finding the time or energy to leave the house for therapy can feel overwhelming. I offer in-home sessions for newly postpartum moms to provide greater ease and comfort during this tender time. Available in San Francisco and parts of Marin.

  • A white sofa with a white cushion featuring a black geometric pattern and a white throw blanket with black stripes and fringe detailing.

    EMDR

EMDR can be especially supportive for people experiencing distress related to infertility, difficult pregnancies, birth trauma, loss, or the challenges of adjusting to parenthood. It can also help you work through earlier experiences that resurface during this season of life. You can learn more here.
