Hi! I’m Libby.
I’m a San Francisco native and reformed early-stage startup product marketer with eight years of clinical experience. I’ve worked in rape crisis centers, wilderness therapy programs, Stanford’s Autism Clinic, and Kaiser Permanente’s Intensive Outpatient Program. I also have specialized training in perinatal mental health and support parents from preconception through the toddler years. Learn more about my perinatal services.
I love working with individuals and couples at an impasse; what used to work doesn’t anymore. Together we’ll sort through what is and isn’t helping, spot barriers like past experiences, patterns, internalized beliefs, and build practical tools to move forward. I have a soft spot for people in the startup world, including founders, and I understand the unique pressure-cooker environment you’re operating in.
My approach combines insight with action. My goal is to support you in developing the tools you need to confidently navigate challenges on your own. I use EMDR to process trauma and stuck points, CBT to challenge unhelpful thoughts, and DBT to strengthen emotion regulation skills. I see therapy as a waystation: we’ll unpack what’s weighing you down and get you back on the road when you’re ready. Many clients come in and out as life demands.
I live in San Francisco with my husband, our toddler, and two dogs (the needy golden retriever may make the occasional cameo in video sessions). I love backpacking, chatting about Claude (the albino alligator at the Academy of Sciences-not the app) with my son, and the NYT Games app.
